Since I could remember, we had attended the Episcopalian church. One day, at the ripe age of 6 or 7, I asked to go to the local synagogue. My parents were open. For about a year I attended Hebrew school, learning, well, Hebrew. My favorite part of the service was when the Torah was paraded through the temple. It all seemed so ancient. Later a stepfather would introduce me to Jung and Freud, and to Eastern thought, meditation and yoga.  I combed a variety of world views, religions, and traditions, synthesizing what was relevant. I sensed that humans as a race are getting better, whether or not all individuals and groups participate in that progress.

Life experience brought tools which I now use in my own unique way.  Christianity, for instance, helped me to explore Spirit as the Holy Spirit. Rosicrucianism helped integrate the ancient with new, expanded truth. Angels brought protection and power. 

Life mirrors our current state. J. Randolph Price, who inspired the name of this website, notes, "People approve of us based on the measure that we approve of ourselves." Dramas from molten to gooey have moved through me, playing my adrenals and heartstrings until I learned how to stop allowing them to. None if it was personal, anyway. 

It comes to this: Life is about expanding the definition of Life, and we do this, each of us, in our unique way. Have you noticed that there are patterns in nature yet no two of any species or thing are exactly alike? No two leaves are just the same, the same applies to snowflakes, rocks, grains of sand, birds and bird dogs. There is only one you.The greatest way to achieve happiness is to be yourself, and to allow others to be who they are. Those who love you will support you. 

The veil is thinning. I still hold a beginner's mind.
